摘要: AIM:ToexplorechangesandpossiblecommunicationrelationshipoflocalpotentialsignalsrecordedsimultaneouslyfromretinaandvisualcortexI(V1).·METHODS:FourteenC57BL/6Jmiceweremeasuredwithpatternelectroretinogram(PERG)andpatternvisuallyevokedpotential(PVEP)andfastFouriertransformhasbeenusedtoanalyzethefrequencycomponentsofthosesignals.·RESULTS:TheamplitudeofPERGandPVEPwasmeasuredatabout36.7μVand112.5μVrespectivelyandthedominantfrequencyofPERGandPVEP,however,stayunchangedandbothsignalsdonothavesecond,orotherwise,harmonicgeneration.·CONCLUSION:Theresultssuggestedthatretinaencodesvisualinformationinthewayoffrequencyspectrumandthentransfersittoprimaryvisualcortex.Theprimaryvisualcortexacceptsanddecipherstheinputvisualinformationcodedfromretina.FrequencyspectrummayactascommunicationcodebetweenretinaandV1.
